Paintings and Sculpture

The collection comprises the largest and most representative collection of Dutch painting and sculpture in the world from the late Middle Ages to around 1900. The museum is expanding its collection of 20th-century art and holds sub-collections of foreign painting and sculpture, glass painting and picture frames.
