A different conversation about slavery
In the Dutch podcast series 'De plantage van onze voorouders', Maartje Duin and Peggy Bouva explore their common past. Maartje as a descendant of a family that had a share in slavery and Peggy as a descendant of people who were enslaved. A search that is confrontational, painful and sometimes very uncomfortable.
Moderator: Noraly Beyer
Guests Peggy Bouva, Maartje Duin, Albertine Duin-Van Lynden, Glenn Helberg and Eveline Sint Nicolaas
