Revolusi! Films centring on the Indonesian battle for independence
This series of film screenings accompanied by guest speakers at Amsterdam’s EYE film museum explores the portrayal of the Indonesian battle for independence from multiple perspectives. With films ranging from the Indonesian feature After the Curfew (Lewat Djam Malam, 1954) to the Dutch feature The East (De Oost, 2020). The programme also includes documentaries and newsreels.

Each weekend there will be guides present in the galleries for visitors wanting to discuss what they are seeing or to get more information. Guided tours will be available in Dutch and English as well as in Dutch sign language and for blind and partially sighted visitors. There will also be a sensory-friendly evening opening.
