Two of the world's most generous philanthropists, Sir William and Constance, Lady Burrell, left behind a unique legacy in the form of the Burrell Collection, a jewel in the City of Glasgow's cultural crown. This book beautifully illustrates the Collection's highlights, brought together in the first exhibition since the museum reopened. It unpacks the connections between Glasgow and Berwick-upon-Tweed, a place dear to the Burrells, and delves into the motivations of the couple as they sought to find a home for their amazing collection.
