Abstract

Catalogue showcasing concrete poetry of the 1960s. Organised into four sections, with the first being an introductory essay written by Hans Locher and Kees Broos on the history of and Mayer's personal philosophy on concrete poetry; the second highlighting publications by Edition Hansjörg Mayer, including the Futura broadside series and Emmett Williams' Sweethearts; the third consisting of individual contributions from Haroldo de Campos, Emmett Williams, George Brecht, Robert Filliou, Franz Mon, Herman de Vries, Diter Rot, and Reinhard Döhl among others; and the fourth featuring Mayer's own artwork dating back to 1961.
