Abstract

After the plans for Glass MUSEUM Schiedam were called to a halt, the city council proceeded with a more modest project: the setup of Glass CENTRE Schiedam. An introductory essay tentatively presents future plans. The book further includes a selection of art works displayed at the exhibition, and short biographies of the 30 or so glass artists participating.
