Abstract

Maximilian Klewer, ehemaliger Professor für Zeichnen an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin, steht in der Tradition akademischer Zeichenkunst. Sehnsucht und Angst, Mythos und Religion, figürliche Kompositionen, Tier und Landschaft durchwirken sein Œuvre, das vielfältige Einflüsse verrät und sich doch einer klaren Einordnung entzieht. Vorliegende Publikation stellt den Künstler in Wort und Bild vor. Exhibition: Museum Bad Arolsen (19.5.-31.10.2012).
