Abstract

The book is dedicated to the great cycle of frescoes created by the Italian painter Luigi Sabatelli (1772-1850) in the Iliad Room of Palazzo Pitti in Florence. The research, based on archival sources such as correspondence, reports, and cash registers, is accompanied by color images, which are the result of an exclusive photographic campaign.
