Henri Cartier-Bresson: l'autre couronnement

Abstract

"À la veille du couronnement de Charles III le 6 mai 2023, c'est à un autre couronnement que nous invite Henri Cartier-Bresson. Le 12 mai 1937 le jeune reporter est à Londres pour couvrir le couronnement du Roi George VI. Il y fait alors le choix radical de ne pas photographier la famille royale mais le peuple massé pour assister à l'événement. Tournant le dos au roi et inversant le regard, il réalise d'étonnants portraits de ces 'regardeurs'." Provided by publisher.
