Abstract

"The exhibition features works by distinguished Polish and foreign artists pursuing a wide range of disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, photomontage, ceramics, glass, textile and video arts. The pieces on display span some 150 years of art and cultural history, starting with nineteenth-century Chinese specimens pointing to the technique's origin and tracing collage's continued presence in the international avant-garde movements at the turn of the twentieth century and then in modern and contemporary art until today, closing with work by millennials."-- Page 122.
