  • Alternate title

Balloon Art Festival: HOT AIR : floating, inflating, touchable

Abstract

"In recent years, balloons have been attracting increasing attention as a new expressive medium. Focusing on this theme, this exhibition consisted entirely of works made using balloons. It is probably the first event of its kind in the world. The balloon works were exhibited making full use of various spaces in the GRANSHIP, including the large Main Hall, the lobby, the foyer, and outdoor plaza. For this exhibition, the curator Fumio Nanjo selected 28 works by 22 leading young artists who are already active all over the world"-- Preface (page 5).
