  • Het nummer rechtsboven de voorstelling correspondeert met haar plaats binnen het verhaal. Het betreft hier de volgende zes (van twaalf) voorstellingen; Cecilia wordt naar haar liefdesleven gevraagd door Mr. Briggs (1); Dr. Lyster wijst Mr. Delvile op de goedheid van Cecilia (12); Cecilia en Henrietta helpen Mr. Albany (3); Mr. Albany identificeert de krankzinnige vrouw als Cecilia (10); Cecilia in gesprek met Mrs. Benfield (5); Cecilia en Fidel worden verrast door de komst van Mortimer (8). Vervaardigd voor een bewerking van Frances Burney's 'Cecilia', genaamd 'Cecilia oder die Geschichte einer reichen Waise'. Latere staat van deze prent gebruikt in: Königl. Grosbritannischer Historischer Genealogischer Calender für 1789, mit Kupfern von Chodowiecki. Lauenburg: J. G. Berenberg, 1788.
