To chronicle his noble ancestry, the first count of Culemborg, Floris I of Pallandt, commissioned an illuminated genealogy of his family. Depicted in it are 55 lords and ladies of noble birth. The genealogical series of drawings spans around 800 years and 26 generations.

De tekeningen worden op basis van archiefbronnen toegeschreven aan Nicolaes de Kemp (ca. 1550-1600) en worden gedateerd ca. 1590-1593. De teksten lijken gezien het handschrift begin 17de-eeuws. De band is laat 19de-eeuws.
