    : ‘This photo illustrates a Double Scribbler Engine consisting of Hand Feed, Breast, and 2 Swifts with Side-drawing. This machine is made 60", 66" or 72" wide and contains either more or less Swifts according to the class of material to be Scribbled. The Cylinders are 45½" or 50" diameter and the Doffers 30", 36" or 40" diameter.
    These engines vary so much in detail that it is impossible to five definite weights and measurements, but these will be furnished on request.’
