The Ostrich Hunt

The Flemish artist Johannes Stradanus (1523-1605) is known mainly for his hunting scenes. And here we see an ostrich hunt. This drawing was always intended to be the basis for a print. The print is one of an extensive and famous series of very different hunting scenes.
