Oostzijdse Mill along the River Gein by Moonlight

Just under an hour’s cycle ride south from the Rijksmuseum, you’ll find this windmill: the Oostzijdse Mill. Mondriaan perhaps took exactly the same journey at the start of the 20th century to visit it – windmills were one of the artist’s favourite subjects to paint.
