STILL/3: a collection of photographs by the students of Yale University

  • Alternatieve titel

    STILL 3

Uittreksel

"STILL/3 is a collection of photographs by the students of Yale University. Its purpose is to give serious photography the kind of permanent exhibition which a publication provides and the audience which a publication can reach. STILL/3 is dedicated to Walker Evans, first professor of Photography at Yale. It would be difficult to overstate the importance of his contributions to his students, to the School or to STILL. STILL/3 includes a dialogue between Walker Evans, Robert Frank and various students and faculty members of the program in Graphic Design and Photography at Yale University."-- Page [1].
