  • "Nagasaki opens with a series of photographs as evidence: a beer bottle ..., a finger tip from a Buddhist statue ... all found at Nagasaki after the fall of the plutonium bomb at 11.02 a.m. on August 9, 1945. Following this strangely seductive yet cool inventory, Tomatsu interlaces photographs of the town and its surroundings with common everyday activities."--Provoke / by Andrew Roth. • Illustrated with black and white photogravure plates.
